At JetCo Solutions, we value the hard work that our employees do every day. We're excited to celebrate Brenna Klipfer and her first work anniversary as a Research Specialist. We chatted with her about how it's going so far.
1.Can you tell me a little bit about what you do in your role at JetCo Solutions?
My job consists of researching potential procurement opportunities for my clients and maintaining their past, present, and future opportunities in our CRM tool. I also answer any research questions or do project that would help my clients and my team.
2. How has your role evolved over the last year? What achievements are you most proud of?
Throughout the past year, I have grown in confidence in my position. I work hard to be an asset to the team, and am looking forward to continuing my growth.
3. How do you ensure your research adds real value to clients?
I am in charge of starting the procurement process for my clients. I scour various resources for potential opportunities that my clients could go for. I am constantly looking for the next opportunity for my clients to pursue while making updates for past and current opportunities. It is my job to link our clients' capabilities to what the government is procuring.
4. What's the biggest lesson you've learned at your time in the role?
With it being my first "real" job post-college, I learned that thorough communication is a necessity. It's also important to listen, while also being courageous enough to speak up.
5. What's your favorite part about being a part of the research team?
I like that the research I do makes the rest of our teams' job easier. My job also helps our clients succeed because it is essentially the beginning of the whole process.
6. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I'd like to be able to teleport so I could go anywhere and return in a moment's notice.
