Every fiscal year the USG must set aside at least 23% of all contracts for small businesses, thus guaranteeing small business growth through business to government (B2G) sales and reinforcing the SBA’s mission statement: “To maintain and strengthen the nation’s economy by enabling the establishment and viability of small businesses and by assisting in the economic recovery of communities after disasters.”
